Signs on fast food windows and pictures on false teeth machines fascinate me as a form of art.

The Florence Hotel has so many little treasures from the sitting room to the actual hotel rooms. I wish more hotels were like that.
One of the many joys of photography has to do with memory. Most of us shoot images for many reasons and one of my major reasons is to remember places I have visited and to which I have responded. I go back to review and remember. Some photos appeal to me more than when I first looked at them and others can be better edited because I have gained some new skills. For those few who follow this blog who may not be photographers, “Try it, you’ll like it!”
I have discovered that it is not necessary to go far to find things to photograph, Dining areas always have items I love to photograph.
When I wander around, I the little things I see are just as attractive as the big vistas. It is the little stuff that accents or creates the big stuff.
The Blue Ridge is beautiful and yields many images. These were taken at the Pisgah Inn where we stayed overnight. If you have not visited the Blue Ridge via the Parkway you must.
