Mainely Boats
Wetlands and Beaches
Maine’s coast is so generous with its beauties that I cannot escape showing large blogs with too many images.
Lobstering
Among the many reasons to go to Maine is the lobster and its catchers, a perfect combination of people, work, boats and eating.
Vintage Inn B&B
This is the B&B where we stayed in Yadkinville and it was perfect.
Buffalo Trace Distillery
I suspect that every bourbon lover has a favorite bourbon and my favorite is from one of the oldest distillers. Buffalo Trace. To get the history of Buffalo Trace check out this link, https://www.buffalotracedistillery.com/unmatched-history. This is a great place to visit.
While the Weaver Shops
While Alice was in the fibre shop and after I shot the interior, I went out to photograph the surroundings since I have a hard time being still.
Lunenburg Farmers’ Market
The weekly Lunenburg Farmers’ Market is not to be missed. It bustles with people, great produce and interesting crafts, not to mention people watching opportunities.
Down the Road in Blue Rocks
Here are a few things I saw wandering around Blue Rocks with Alice. The trees, ferns and wet leaves are so appealing.
Details
When I stroll, I occasionally have to look at where a dock ends or other ground type things and those. too, yield things to photograph.
Fog
We had a few foggy mornings in Lunenburg and the surrounding countryside which made for really atmospheric pictures. I suspect that lobstermen could do without the fog during lobstering season.
More Lunenburg Boats
Lunenburg has an active boat yard life with new boats being built and others being repaired. What a fun place!
Lunenburg and Its Boats
Next Round
The first two photographs are from our rental front yard and doorstep respectively. The second two are from Lunenburg.
