Behind and adjacent to the Southeast Center for Creative Photography in Greenville, SC is construction related chain link fencing making appealing patterns and structures. I just had to photograph them.
My search for relatively unspoiled countryside can be rewarded within 20 miles of home and here is a place that really appeals to me.
Al and I found more old, industrial magic in West Greenville from what probably was an abandoned mill site. The blend of old timey industrial engineering, sculptural appearance and aging as well as the shadow are hard not to love.
This is one our favorite places to photograph. It is on National Register of Historic Places and is the only extant, complete roller mill of its type remaining in SC.
