Wherever I go I make sure to look both up and down (and both ways crossing the street}. Places like the arboretum are particularly rewarding when looking around with the canopies of dogwoods in flower and the other trees filtering the Spring light and the flowers that are in the line of sight when looking dow.
Magnolias are among my favorite flowers because of its size, shapes and textures. The images are interesting to work with and they lend themselves to both black and white as well as color images.
I love the shapes and colors as well as some water drops.
I try to ride my trike everyday, preferably in the morning and I keep an eye on the spring flowers. I am taken by the magnolias, mountain laurel and what is probably Henryi Clematis. These various flowers are good closeup challenges and when they are caught just right “lookers’.
