Trawling through old files is like fishing, sometimes I catch something I like.

Classic Cars
The OLLI at Furman Classic Cars class visited Classic Cars, a combination restorable cars/.junkyard. I visited it a few times in the past and here is the first installment of my current visit.
Things like doors of different colors and rusting parts are always eye catching.
Rusty Railroad Yard Bits
Al and I ride around and find entropic items like railroad parts and it doesn’t matter that I am not sure what they are though the second image is part of a railroad car coupler. Just wandering around these places is like having your own supersized train set.
More Classics
Here are a few more images from our visit to the car lot. I wish some of the cars, like the Hudson in the second image were pretty and driveable.
Rust Is A Must
There are times of year that call out to me for certain types of pictures and winter calls for bare trees, rusty old cars and trucks, with snow when available, so Al and I went to a local car yard and shot away. I will have more as the week progresses and the steel regresses.
Hinges and Latches
I was looking through older images and found a number of interesting hinges and latches with wooden backgrounds. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and when you unlatch the gate to 2016, a Happy New Year.
