The Old Store and Gas Station

Al and I did our usual ride around and we found this now abandoned  store and gas station, another reminder of days past.

Oil Mill Revisited

I always find it worthwhile to revisit places I like, whether by looking at old pictures or making new ones.

Roadside Tangle

When we ride around I see all sorts of things like old buildings covered by kudzu, interesting especially in winter when the leaves are gone and there is only a tangle of vines. The old garage  is across the street from a stream which is also uncovered by loss of kudzu leaves.

The Motel

We get off the road and  into the motel. The blue pool,wavy curtains and mirrored lamps are the sorts of things that always catch my eye, which means that in some way they make me feel good and are good to share.
