The color and activity downtown is ultimately fun to watch. I find it challenging to kind of organize this color and activity visually.

At Cecelia Feld’s Opening
My friend Cecelia Feld had an opening at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts last Friday night and it was a great success. I love exhibit spaces for their interesting elevators and people watching, not to mention the art work.

Hampton Gallery Opening
The other night there was a very important opening at the Hampton Gallery, Taylors, SC featuring Jeanet Dreskin and several people whom she influenced as a studio artist and teacher. Jeanet has supported so many of us in the art world in so many ways and fortunately she is still going, a force of nature in the best possible way. Go see this show at Hampton Gallery From right to left in the first picture is Alice Schlein, Jeanet Dreskin, Carrie Burns Brown, Jim Campbell and Sandy Rupp, gallery director. Reedy River Park 1
Yesterday Alice and I went to downtown Greenville to stroll around the park. The experience reminded me of a stroll in Central Park in NYC.
More Eclipse
More MOMA
Museums are fascinating places where one can both experience art and try to make art (whatever that is for one).
Street Celebration
Street celebrations are always colorful and fun to attend.
Night Time
The night changes things when the lights go on and people go out.
The Farmers’ Market
There is always more to see at the Lunenburg Farmers; Market.
Lunenburg Farmers’ Market
The weekly Lunenburg Farmers’ Market is not to be missed. It bustles with people, great produce and interesting crafts, not to mention people watching opportunities.
De Young Memorial Museum of Fine Art, SF
The de Young Memorial Museum of Fine Art in San Francisco is one of my favorites because of the architecture and the exhibits as well as the people watching. My on-going explorations of B/W and color is part of this entry.
The Water Project
I am working on a water project which ranges from swimming pools through icebergs, water falls and raging rivers. Here is a relatively calm water group from the project.
Some NY People
I love wandering around. especially in large cities like NYC because of all the people and things for them to interact with. Reflecting balls add to the fun.
