Downtown Gatlinburg

The color and activity downtown is ultimately fun to watch. I find it challenging to kind of organize this color and activity visually.

At Cecelia Feld’s Opening

My friend Cecelia Feld had an opening at the Greenville Center for Creative Arts last Friday night and it was a great success. I love exhibit spaces for their interesting elevators and people watching, not to mention the art work.

The other night there was a very important opening at the Hampton Gallery, Taylors, SC featuring Jeanet Dreskin and several people whom she influenced as a studio artist and teacher. Jeanet has supported so many of us in the art world in so many ways and fortunately she is still going, a force of nature in the best possible way. The weekly Lunenburg Farmers’ Market is not to be missed. It bustles with people, great produce and interesting crafts, not to mention people watching opportunities.

De Young Memorial Museum of Fine Art, SF

The de Young Memorial Museum of Fine Art in San Francisco is one of my favorites because of the architecture and the exhibits as well as the people  watching. My on-going explorations of B/W and color is part of this entry.

The Water Project
