Museums are fascinating places where one can both experience art and try to make art (whatever that is for one).

Here’s to NYC
NYC Reflections
Reflections in big cities are rich in a complex and sort of unpredictable ways, which is what I find so engaging. Here are a few from NYC>
Last Cloisters View (Maybe)
The Cloisters, Some Artifacts
The religious artifacts in the Cloisters collection are wonderful works of art. One can cruise through for a quick round of enjoyment or stand in front of one piece for hours. Either way is good.
The Cloisters
Now that we are at the Cloisters, let’s enter and wander around the courtyards, one of my favorite areas. Fortunately the sky was was clear blue with a few nice clouds, which changed a bit later.
Nightime
After taking a photograph through the window (again),The view out the window seems to have lots of variations in light from specular highlights and numerous gradations from grey to black. Across the street was a fitness center where a few hardy souls were on the machines. we walked down the street to a bar and soaked up the local color in the bar.
Hotel Room Window, NYC
On our previous trip to NYCt our hotel window faced an air shaft, not much with which to work. The night and day views were very satisfying to see with the forms of the buildings and lights during the night.and the details and shapes during the day.
Some NY People
I love wandering around. especially in large cities like NYC because of all the people and things for them to interact with. Reflecting balls add to the fun.
It’s Coming
Winter is on its way and I am sort of looking forward to it because of the visual excitement it brings. As a kid and even now, I look foreard to a bit of snow for a change of visuals..
