Yesterday Alice and I drove our part of the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina and stopped at the Folk Art Center where I photographed some mountain laurel and rhododendron, two of my favorites. The pictures of both are similar but from different viewpoints. I like the second mountain laurel image, as the yellow leaf adds a pleasing accent and the green leaf group in the second rhodo photo does the same. Just for info, the shots where made with a Fuji 50-140mm F2.8 zoom, one of the best lenses I have ever used.
