Out in the Country
Al and I were riding out in the country near Newberry, SC. The countryside is amazing in the fall with perfect light and great color.A bonus was when the engineer stopped to chat with us.

Historic Brattonsville
South Carolina has many historic sites and this is one of the more important ones. The late fall is a great time to visit with the trees having either lost their leaves or are carrying golden leaves .Here is a link which gives a good description of the place and its history, http://chmuseums.org/battle-of-hucks-defeat-hb/. Fall Colors
Alice has been busily spinning while the leaves have been busily falling. I noticed that the color of this fall’s leaves have been the same sort of colors as that of Alice’s spun yarn.
Endless Fall
It is hard to leave the fall landscape.
Paris Mountain State Park
Fall in the Upstate of SC is great and the Paris Mountain State Park is a gem of an example. The combination of great colors and their reflections in the pond are perfect.
Fall in the Upstate, SC
Fall is a special time of the year with its intense colors and the reminders of the passing of a year with all the resonances of that event.
S.C.in the Fall
Here in South Carolina Fall is a great time with cooling temperatures (sort of) and colored leaves. Here a a few images on a trip with Al to a little local park and a stop by a bridge over a small stream, I like the brown curled leaves almost as much as the brightly colored ones.
Leaves
I like looking around our yard during and just after rain. The color intensify and the water drops add an additional texture.
A Walk in the Park
These are some things I enjoyed while wandering in the St/ Charles St. Mary’s Hill Park.
