I am going to try to show you our trip to New Mexico in more or less a chronological order. Here is where we stayed; a wonderful place with great light, form and color located in Santa Fe.

Rainy days are great for making pictures. The light is ideal and the people with their umbrellas are fun to see.

The Astucou Azalea Garden (http://www.acadiamagic.com/asticou-garden.html), near Bar Harbor, Maine is a great spot, even when the azaleas are not in bloom. The layout and fall colors work so well together.

The Furman Rose Garden is a jewel and the roses are out in full bloom. Try to get there before the first  bloom is over.

I love these images of amazing orange lilies. I enjoy looking at several views of flowers because each one has a different emotional content for me.

The NC Arboretum is near Asheville, NC and it is a great place to visit during all seasons of the year.  Even the irrigation hose is fun to shoot.
