Rainy days are great for making pictures. The light is ideal and the people with their umbrellas are fun to see.
Summer’s End
Hatcher’s Garden and Nature Preserve (http://www.hatchergarden.org/) is a treasure in Spatanburg, SC and deserves a visit.
A Great Yard
Our friends in Maine have a wonderful backyard.
Asticou Azalea Garden
The Astucou Azalea Garden (http://www.acadiamagic.com/asticou-garden.html), near Bar Harbor, Maine is a great spot, even when the azaleas are not in bloom. The layout and fall colors work so well together.
Furman University Rose Garden
The Furman Rose Garden is a jewel and the roses are out in full bloom. Try to get there before the first bloom is over.
Furman Rose Garden
Al and I got to the Furman Rose Garden a little early and this begins some entries as we watch the garden.
Biltmore Flowers
I love these images of amazing orange lilies. I enjoy looking at several views of flowers because each one has a different emotional content for me.
Biltmore Estate Conservatory
A great place to visit and photograph.
North Carolina Arboretum
The NC Arboretum is near Asheville, NC and it is a great place to visit during all seasons of the year. Even the irrigation hose is fun to shoot.
