A camera at the ready lets me shoot through the windshield where I caught the rhythm of the trees and the touch of red on the mailbox.

Morning in the Bergamo Plaza
The other day Alice and wandered around on the Bergamo Plaza in downtown Greenville, SC. The 9:30 AM light was perfect and the plaza was at its best.
Artists’ Tools
This was a great display of tools for artist to use to make art. By themselves the tools, no matter how expensive, do make art, the artist makes the art, jhut like the camera and software do not make photographic art, the user behind the behind the camera and computer or in the darkroom makes the art.

Glass Experiment
This is a project I come back to as th e spirit moves me. I enjoy seeing what happens when things are viewed through a facetted water glass.
Tilt Blue
This image started as a blown over picnic table with its umbrella which I felt was a good start for an interesting image.
Why ?
AS you probably know, I enjoy looking down occasionally find the debris there has both great details and lager patterns. The color seems to interfere with the overall criss-cross patterns of the image, so I prefer the black and white image.
The Old Homestead Barn
Al and I did one of our wanders last Friday and found an old barn out in rural South Carolina which is about to be torn down. If you want to see this type of scene, you need to do it soon.
