Rainy days are great for making pictures. The light is ideal and the people with their umbrellas are fun to see.

Inside the Union Courthouse
There are areas inside the Union SC Courthouse that are as magnificent as the outside.
Union County Courthouse, Union, SC
Union, SC is a quaint town in SC near Spartanburg. The people are very friendly and the architecture is amazing. The courthouse is beautiful outside and in. Here is a link for more information, https://www.sciway.net/sc-photos/union-county/union-county-courthouse.html
Locks and Hinges
Five Mile Shooting Radius
Al and I like to ride around in the countryside bur occasionally stay closer to home. These are from a converted shopping center in Greenville, SC. I love the rhythm and shadows.
Vancouver, BC
Quite a while ago we went to Vancouver for a weavers’ meeting.I tucked the px away and finally found them. We need to go back to Vancouver.
Pendleton Oil Mill
As you tell, this place holds great attraction for me.
Pendleton Oil Mill, Pendleton, SC
This is one of my favorite sites to photograph and was one of the first places I photographed when Iwe moved to SC. The mill is slowly slipping into complete entropy, which is sad because I think it should be made into historical site with a full but correct renovation as it is part of our history in the Upstate.
The Barn in Back
Here are a few pictures of the barn behind the house from yesterday. This is a great site.
Window Views
These were taken during a Horizon Photography Workshop in Chesapeake City, MD.
Another Old Farm

Simplicity
Sometimes, simple images work best for me and can be evocative.
Portland Airport
The Portland, Maine airport has some very nice architectural details and the placement of the occasional rocking chair is a brilliant touch.
Trip to Alice’s High School Reunion
We went to Kenilworth, NJ for Alice’s high school reunion. I thought the visuals of the trip ere really interesting. The first three are from Newark Airport and the last three are from the hotel at which we stayed.
Buildings and Their Shadows
Oil Mill Revisited
I always find it worthwhile to revisit places I like, whether by looking at old pictures or making new ones.
The Old Pendleton, SC Oil Mill
This is a site that should not be missed as it is historic and will most likely disappear soon. We did not go inside the buildings as they look ready to devour anyone who enters. Here is a link to more information,http://www.sciway.net/sc-photos/anderson-county/pendleton-oil-mill.html.
Greenville Center for Creative Arts
Here are some unpeopled views inside the old Brandon Mill, now the Greenville Center for Creative Arts. I love the large spaces with sparse furnishings. There are also artist’s studios in the building as well as a connected loft type housing development.
