New Mexico Series
I am going to try to show you our trip to New Mexico in more or less a chronological order. Here is where we stayed; a wonderful place with great light, form and color located in Santa Fe.

Find your local old towns and small cities to discover their older buildings which have a classic beauty, integrity as well as history, all of which adds up to soul.
Heat, Kudzu. Old Buildings and Inspiration, Another Ride
Al and I took a ride out to Pacolet, SC and found what we were looking for, namely. old buildings and kudzu. The inspirational graffito on the corner of an old building was a bonus.
Out and About
Al and I hit the road again and found this old cotton mill which is slowly being repurposed.
Farm Views
If we get far enough out of town the rewards of older working farms are great. I enjoy the colors of some of the subjects as well as the farm implements.
Waco Grain Mill, Waco, NC
Yesterday, Al and I revsited Waco, NC and its grain mill, which may no longer be active.The shapes the structures and the sense of history around the place completely captured my attention.
A Clinton, SC Walk
A while back my buddy Al and I wandered around Clinton, SC and I found the old buildings and some of their details engaging on lots of levels.
Old Business Site
Old business sites with their warehouses and offices cast great shadows and make one wonder about their histories. Many of These exist just outside of small towns and are little treasures which I feel the need to record/

Biltmore Library Restaurant
The Biltmore Estate has several dining places and I think the views from the Library are the best, starting with the table and going out the window.
The Old Store and Gas Station
Al and I did our usual ride around and we found this now abandoned  store and gas station, another reminder of days past.
Wandering the Streets of Brevard, NC
Wandering the streets of any town or city yields some interesting images, which is what makes photography so much fun.
SC Farm Country
Old Buildings in Upstate SC
Our area of SC is rich with old commercial buildings and houses. They have a certain nobility and exude history.
Union, SC
I find it difficult to leave downtown Union with courthouse, monument and store windows.
