Bruce,   (a)  Identify the hotel that you’re staying at in Florence.  It would be interesting know what hotel has the features shown in your photos.   (b)  Interesting effect of the room in B&W, and view through the window in color.   (c)  Like particularly the shot of what I think is the hotel lobby with the staircase in the center, and the shuttered window shot.   (d)  Still wonder if all the shots would be enhanced by color.Lee Marinelli

    • The hotel is the Florence Hotel in downtown Florence. The stairway is on the second floor. As far as color vs b&w, they both work equally well but I chose color because it brings out the patterns and structure better gor me.
