Millennium Park

Our group took a foot tour to and through Millennium Park. The skyscrapers around the park are typical of Chicago’s newer buildings. The row of blue bikes has a good rhythm and movement and I am partial to blue. Anish Kapoor’s sculpture, Cloud Gate aka The Bean is one of the first things one sees entering the park and is a visual joy for its shape and reflections. Crown Fountain by Jaume Plensa with the spitting boy changes pictures on a regular schedule and is the perfect recreational site on a hot day.
