Some of my friends from OLLI at Furman have been showing their ice, snow and arctic photographs which pointed me back toward some of my ice in a glass experiments. The refracted purple straw and ice cubes in facetted glasses caught my attention.
Theres something very intriguing about these photos. I found myself staring at the second to last one for what felt like a really long time. It captures what I love most about abstract works. Your photos make me look at so ice differently now!

#2 is especially fine.
Bruce, I find the amber ice in the glass (vertical) to be one of the nicest shots I have seen anywhere recently! Thanks!
Nice Ice In The Glass series, especially the last one!
